Why Two Nurses Love
Wilde Brand Chips:
A Healthier Snack
If you crave adventure as much as we do, it can be hard to make sure your family is eating healthy - especially when being on the go. We know firsthand how challenging it can be to find healthier snacks that kids actually love! As parents of two busy boys and nurses with over 15 years of experience, we understand what makes people healthier: a nutritious diet that includes lots of fresh produce, whole grains, and complete proteins along with some treats now and then. 😉
Wilde Brands chips are made from real food
Wilde Brands chips are made from real food, like 100% natural chicken breast and premium pork from real farmers - no fake stuff here!
One thing we look for when it comes to snacks is real food from responsible sources. Wilde Brands sources its free-range chicken from self-sustaining family farms, where they are raised on a vegetarian diet with no antibiotics or added hormones. Similarly, its pork comes from family-owned hog farms that follow comprehensive care and welfare standards.
They're high protein and low sugar
When our bodies consume too much sugar, there is inevitably a crash that happens. The best way to avoid that crash is to consume sugar in moderation and choose foods that will last longer - such as whole grains, fresh produce, and complete proteins.
That's why we love Wilde Brand chips! Aside from being made of real food, they're low in sugar and high in protein, which means fewer sugar crashes and more energy for our adventures, like snowboarding and hiking.
While the kids would likely be happy with sugary snacks - and we definitely use them on occasion as a treat - we prefer to choose healthier options whenever possible.
This also makes them a great choice for several specialty diets. With many flavors to choose from, you'll find options for diabetics that are sugar-free, gluten-free options for celiacs, plus Keto and Paleo certified choices.

Wilde Chips are allergy-friendly for many food allergens
When I found out about Wilde Chips, one of the first questions that popped into my head is whether it was safe for our son who has a life-threatening peanut allergy. If you or someone close to you also has food allergies, then chances are high that this has crossed your mind as well.
I'm stoked to say that Wilde IS free of peanut. In addition, they are also free of almost all the top allergens including milk, soy, fish, shellfish, wheat, sesame, and most tree nuts (with the exception of coconut). Even better, they are made in a dedicated facility free of cross-contamination for those allergens.
They satisfy cravings and our kids love them!
There are few things that can compare to the salty crunchiness of a potato chip, but Wilde Chips does an incredible job at it! When I get a craving for salty and crunchy snacks, they are an excellent choice for a healthier alternative. Plus, they have some amazing flavors - my personal favorite is the Nashville Hot. 😋
More importantly, our kids love them too. When we choose them as fuel before or during their adventures, they're satisfied for a long time - instead of begging for another snack in less than 15 minutes.
And, truthfully? The kids think of them as a "treat", which makes them a total win in my book. We won't tell your kids if you don't. 😉
