Who are you? Give us a brief background on you, hobbies /interests, family, where you grew up, what you had for breakfast, etc.

I'm Amy and I'm a newly licensed pharmacist! I grew up in Atlanta and moved to Florida for pharmacy school. I met my fiancé during my first year of school and we still live in Florida with our two mini Australian Shepherds, Sparrow and Piper.

If you had to choose 3 kitchen essentials, what would they be? (could be tools or ingredients)

I could not live without my air fryer, blender, and garlic salt!

How did you get started with cooking?

I was a caregiver for my mom while she was going through medical treatments when I just started college. I wanted to learn how to cook so that we could have home cooked meals instead of takeout every night.

What is it about cooking that you love? Why do you come back to it everyday?

Cooking is therapeutic for me. I love spending hours in the kitchen trying new recipes and experimenting! It's a great way for me to clear my head and put my focus into what I'm making.

What keeps you hungry? What drives you to keep trying to up your game?

I'm constantly trying new recipes and dinner ideas. I love seeing what flavor combinations I can come up with or variations of meals I already love. I get bored of the same foods fast and am always trying something new.

What’s your favorite cooking/food related memory or story?

The first time I made dinner for my fiancé, I knew I had to impress. I made him Mongolian Beef and it blew him away. He still requests it every year for his birthday!

If you could choose one thing that you want to get better at, what is it?

I recently started to get into yoga again after taking a few years off. This is something I want to get better at and its so good for you!

Do you have a love/hate relationship with any aspect of cooking?

I LOVE baking, but gluten free baking can be pretty complicated. I really enjoy it but it can be challenging to get the texture right.

What is your biggest dream that you have yet to accomplish?

One of my biggest dreams is to have a family :)

How did you first hear about Wilde Chips? What did you think about them?

I saw them for the first time in Fresh Market and immediately threw them in my basket! They seemed like the perfect snack. I tried them as soon as I got home and I was hooked. The texture and flavor made for the perfect snack.

Why would you choose Wilde Chips over other salty snacks?

I love the high protein content and ingredients that are used. I know that I'm having a more nutritious snack than the other salty snack alternatives.

What was your inspiration for this recipe? Did you start with wanting to use Wilde Chips or did you start with the recipe and thought Wilde would go well with it?

I knew as soon as I tried this flavor of buffalo chips that I needed to create a chicken tender out of it. I knew that these chips would be the perfect crispy coating for them!

At Wilde, our mantra is ‘Be Bold. Live Wilde-ly”. What does live Wilde-ly mean to you?

Live Wilde-ly means to be adventurous and live life to the fullest. Don't miss out on something that could be amazing :)
